In September 2011, the multimedia media messaging app Snapchat was released. Now, over 100 million active users and 7 billion daily video views later, Snapchat filters have taken over. Imagine starting with something (your face) that you already love (don't front either, you love your face or you wouldn't be taking selfies all day) could be enhanced with fun, unique, and customized looks. We are now to the point where we can use Snapchat filters to help commemorate experiences like birthdays and weddings.
Now lets back up. Being in a constant world of technology and interior design, I often try to understand the psychology behind what we do as humans plus a clients reasons for wanting to make things beautiful and organized from an interior design prospective.
I often here, what is it that you do? I can say, "i'm and interior designer", or I can say, "I specialize in bold and creative ways to transform the homes of people who don't have the time to do it themselves". What I also realized is I can say, "its like a Snapchat filter, but for your home". Interior designers are here to provide a well-deserved "Snapchat filter" to your existing spaces.
Your current space might not even be that bad, but if you don't really feel its set up for entertaining, or it doesn't give you relief when you first step in, or most popular, your belongings seem to outweigh your available space, you can benefit from the enhancements an interior designer could offer you. Interior designers are no longer just for the rich and only managing huge new construction projects. I work with hardworking creatives, go-getters and business owners who simply don't have the time, or energy to do it themselves. Even if you rent your space, you can still make it work for you and maximize your potential while you are there, using any one of our interior design packages. Let's talk boo! What you waiting for?! It doesn't cost anything to get the conversation going to see if interior design services are for you, and how The Nappy Bohemian can complete your space.
